INTEREDU™ Fundamental Educational Qualification
This phase aims at providing teachers with the basic education competencies that will enable them to become effective and active teachers at school and be able to adapt to the school’s social environment. By the end of the training program, teachers will have gained high self-esteem and a positive self-concept, and will believe they can make an impact at international schools.
When developing our training programs, we took into consideration the international education standards driving education and curriculum in the United States. These standards have been adopted by many international schools in instruction and curriculum selection. Also, we considered competencies for international education that are the basis for teacher performance assessment and certain teacher examinations including Praxis III, the classroom performance assessment and competencies for teaching in KSA, the Ministry of Education’s vision for education, and recent theories on education. We also followed an integrated system based on student age groups as well as 21st century skill.
Fundamental Education Qualification training programs will provide graduates of non-education colleges with basic concepts in three main areas of education standards, namely professional knowledge, planning and instruction. This phase includes the following programs:
